Hosting and access logs

This website is a static site delivered through Cloudflare. When you visit it, technical connection data — IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp — is processed to deliver the site reliably and securely. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure, performant delivery (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

We do not evaluate this data beyond operating the site, and we retain no server logs of our own beyond the hosting provider's standard, short-lived technical logs.

No cookies, no tracking

This website sets no tracking cookies and uses no analytics or advertising services. Your theme preference (light or dark) is stored locally in your browser and is never transmitted to us.

Contact by email or phone

If you contact us, we process the contact details and message content you provide in order to respond. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your inquiry relates to a contract, otherwise our legitimate interest in handling correspondence (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We keep correspondence only as long as needed or as statutory retention periods require.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection to processing based on legitimate interest. To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@riverlabs.de.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — for us, the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit).
